Changed Expectations......Top Ten List

The investigation continues.........

Here are the very important results of my internal investigation about the state of our pregnancy. We have not seen a Dr. in the last 72 hours so this is not based on any new information from a licensed and trained medical expert.

MY FINDINGS ARE BASED ON:

Our reported numbers, the percentages, the heart beat, the bleed, the through the roof extremely High Beta numbers, Dr. Google, the fact that I have never carried a baby, and my complete lack of any medical training.

With that being said - we have the all important discovery, findings, and my current made up beliefs.

  • Due to the high beta number we started out as twins.
  • Morning Sickness which didn't happen in the past with singleton's was in full strength due to the twins.
  • The bleed was one guy moving out, not a tear in the lining.
  • The Heart Beat numbers are within range and will be fine.
  • With one baby the morning sickness will go away.
  • I can be a nice guy again. No more "Bad Man".
  • The baby will be safe or safer at least now that it is a singleton.
  • The Heart Beat will rise accordingly and be stronger, due to no longer needing to share resources.
  • We are now more likely to have a full term healthy baby.

And the number one new expectation is my favorite.
  • We can expect to kiss the NICU room goodby!!!!

With my lack of medical training, that would be my thoughts as well.
Glad to see you've found a new perspective and at least for today, are feeling a little more stable.

No NICU sounds like a great idea!

I am not worried about my stability - it is what it is.

I mean c'mon now, I am an IP, I am perfect, except for this fertility issue of course.

Which I have strictly through association and it isn't contagious.

So we must go full circle back to the statement:

C'mon now, I am perfect.

You don't even need to go to SMO for that silly. My sister calls me all the time for expert medical advice. Christy has my number, I'll gladly share my medical experience.

You can't claim to opposite's and remain credible.

On this page alone you claim to have no medical training and then you want to offer expert medical advice.

I just don't know what to believe anymore.

Mr. Inspiring

Check it out! Someone thinks that I am inspiring. Really! go to Our Surrogacy Adventure and read how I inspired her post, but notice that I didn't inspire her enough to be added to her blogroll. This is what I am talking about when I say that we meet new friends on our adventure. This would be a prime example. Lost and Found and Connections Abound

I just got listed as a new blog by Mel at Lost and Found and Connections Abound. For those of you coming to my site for the first time here is a quick summary. I am an Intended father writing about surrogacy from the straight males perspective.  It seems weird to need to add the word straight when describing myself, but all the male blogs that I can find on Surrogacy seem to be from a gay males perspective.  Christy and I have been working on the baby project for around 2 years with many highs and lows.
