Lost and Found and Connections Abound

I just got listed as a new blog by Mel at Lost and Found and Connections Abound.

For those of you coming to my site for the first time here is a quick summary.

I am an Intended father writing about surrogacy from the straight males perspective.  It seems weird to need to add the word straight when describing myself, but all the male blogs that I can find on Surrogacy seem to be from a gay males perspective.

Christy and I have been working on the baby project for around 2 years with many highs and lows. We are currently building our team for a new run. This time around we expect to have two surrogates at the same time which will help make it an exciting ride for everyone.

This is the background for our story. Please read some of my posts and feel free to ask me some questions.

Your blog is way more thought provoking and by far a better read!
I will continue to check back regularly to see what else you can come up with!
You're amazing!!

Hi! I'm an IM who hopes to be cycling with her surrogate in a few weeks. I look forward to keeping up with your journey!

I think I might know Christy from SMO. (???) Not sure.

Good luck to you on the next leg of your journey. I think it's great that you're writing a blog from the "straight" IF perspective.

Cyn,

I know that you like what I am writing, but you have a lot of the back story that our other readers don't have access to at this point. I wonder how many 1st time readers will catch on.

Elizabeth,

Thanks for posting a comment. I would suggest that you check out the message board IPSexpectmiracles.com. It is a public message board built around the IP pespective.

Kymberli,

You caught me, Or Christy, Or at least the part about knowing Christy and that I am the other half.

I do find it confusing that the first time in my life that I felt that I needed to announce my sexuality was on a semi-anonymous blog.

Hi there,
My husband and I are pursuing surrogacy too (we're new to it after 3 years of trying). Nice to find someone else out there!!

Duck,

I made the choice to be with an infertile women. I didn't see it as a big deal at the time and I still don't have a problem with the fact.

For the most part, we are emotionally isolated from the rest of the world. And that makes you feel like you are the only one going through this struggle.

The studies show that a large percentage of the population have infertility problems of some sort. It is really quite common. You can just read the 100's of blogs out there or go on our message boards to find out we are not alone.

Anonymous,

Thanks for the kind words. Maybe someday you will learn your name.

Until then, we will call you poker face.
