I See Pregnant Women....And Small Children

Since we are talking about other blogs that inspire a post I will point to Xbox4NappyRash: The seventh sense in which he talks about developing a 7th sense - the ability to see infertile people.

I got it a little different - I See Pregnant Women....And Small Children.

When I was a small child I would go to the beach and see other small children. Others like me to play with in the sand.

Then as I got a little bit older I became interested in the basketball court near the beach and was aware of the other basketball players that where on the court.

As a got still older, I became aware of the girls in the bikini's at the beach. All of a sudden they were everywhere - and they were the only ones on the beach.

Recently, when I go to the beach I see Pregnant Women....And Small Children all over the place.

I constantly have to work hard not to step on them as they play in the surf. These young families are new to the beach. They have never been there before now - yet now they are all of the place.

You see the mom with the stroller and the new born, the Dad with the shade umbrella and the child sleeping, the twins that are dressed alike, the family with all of their kids in white shirt getting ready for the family photo at sunset.

Where did they all come from?

Here from ICLW. I always find that when I want something it is the only thing my brian sees. I wanted a honda CRV saw them everywhere, when I had my loss saw pregnancy and babies everywhere. It is amazing what our mind filters.

All the best in your journey!

That is so very true, I fall into the same thing.... I won't see pregnant people for weeks, but when I'm feeling blue about stuff they suddenly come out of the woodwork and 2 new maternity cloth's stores have opened at the mall.

What's with that!

EVERYWHERE!

Especially when you are at your most blue, they appear out of the woodwork.

Fascinating blog here on an aspect I had not given much thought to.

You are so right. When I feel down I see more pregnant women and small babies. What tricks our minds play.

I think when there is something we want, he can't help but see if everywhere, its like the worlds little slap in the face. I know before I started trying to have kids I would see fashionable people, or unique people and they would be everywhere for me to compare myself or whatever! Now all I see is PG women, EVERYWHERE!! and the babies EVERYWHERE!

here from ICLW
Seriously,

I believe that you get what you think about all day long. So it's just a matter of time. Thanks.
Andy,

I am not at the point where I am noticing the maternity stores. I actually hope that day never happens.
Xbox,

I throw your name in a post and you call me fascinating.

Interesting how that works.
nh,

I don't feel down when I see them. They are all way to happy enjoying there day at the beach. I just don't understand how they scared away all of the girls in the bikini's.
Alicia,

I don't see it as a slap in the face - more like a visualization practice. You see it, You Dream it, You get it.
Here from ICLW...

Not only are they everywhere, but they are all suddenly asking me if I have children, and if not, why not. It must be a worldwide conspiracy.
Cassandra,

If I started talking to small children at the beach I would be arrested, so I try to keep my distance.

Thanks for stopping by.

For a long time I never saw them...or if I did I ran away from them dreading hearing their silly poopy-diaper stories. Now I see them everywhere...and want my own poopy-diaper stories.
Anyway...they just make it all look so EASY.
Murgdan,

For me pregnant women used to be like Bigfoot, the lockness monster, or UFO's. Sure you hear other people talking about them, but I had never scene one.

Now I see pregnant women everywhere! It makes me wonder about the other stuff.

Hey, no fair.

You KNOW I've been reading since I was aware of this blog.

There are plenty other places I could haunt to blow smoke, but if I say I find it fascinating here I mean it.

Full stop.
Xbox,

Okay, maybe that was a hit below the belt.

Honestly though, I am learning a lot by following your lead. Your blog gets more comments then any other dealing with infertility.

That's very impressive.

No problem at all.

I wouldn't follow me TOO closely, we've not been exactly successful ;0)
Xbox,

I can't follow you too closely, for one that would be a little invasive. But more importantly, I am not trying to get my wife pregnant.

My event is much more complicated. I am trying to get two women pregnant that are not my wife - while Christy and their husbands cheer us on.

You got to give me a 10 for degree of difficulty.

...and you doubted my calling this blog 'fascinating'... ;0)

Good luck with the multiple impregnation attempts, I know the pitfalls of trying to get one done!
I will be very careful or you will start calling this blog - a train wreck waiting to happen.
